About me

My name is Matti Meri-Huhti and I am a 32 year old musician living in Helsinki. Music has always played a big part in my life and I started to play the guitar when I was 13 years old. During the years I have developed my guitar skills with countless lessons, regular practicing and many performances. In 2015, I
was chosen by Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom to play along side him in ‘100 guitars from Hel’ at Helsingin Juhlaviikot. I have been very lucky and priviledged to also get to perform music internationally. Nowadays, I play in many bands and act as a session musician for other artists. Guitar playing has given me quite a lot during the years, and I would like to pass my knowledge and inspiration to people who are interested in guitar playing and share the same passion as me.
